A Must-Have Healing Stone for Developing Sensational Psychic Skills
When it comes to intuition, it can be all too easy to trust your own thoughts and instincts. Where does this self-doubt come from you may ask, and more importantly- what’s kind of crystal can you use to work through it and ultimately eliminate it? The answer? Black Apatite!

We’ve all been there…that place where you feel like you know where you’re headed, but you’d just like a little confirmation before making any big changes or decisions… that place where you feel like you know what’s right for yourself, but you don’t trust your intuition enough to take the leap… where if only you’d followed you gut instinct, you’d be much better off.
When I was first starting to develop my psychic skills, I had a difficult time letting go of logic and trusting my intuition. I soon realized that when it seems like a struggle to trust your feelings and let my intuition help direct your decisions, it may be due to a build-up of psychic debris in your energy field. An excess of psychic debris in your field can cloud your judgement and impede intuitive development.
Removing any psychic debris from your field is one of the best ways to be sure that you’re thinking about an issue clearly without negative thought-forms cluttering up your insight.
By removing the psychic debris, which is often strongly emotionally-charged energy like fear, anxiety, worry, sadness, negativity, etc., you are able to see a situation more clearly. This makes it much easier to trust your intuition and allow your inner guidance to aid you in decision-making and more. Working with Black Apatite (I got my piece from CrystalAge.com) helps to clear psychic debris, allowing you to trust that your inner guidance is always trying to steer you in the right direction. This stone is a blessing in that it provides comfort and reassurance in trusting your inner guidance, leaving you better able to develop your psychic skills and intuition.
Black Apatite can be for inviting in your guides for an “energetic cleanup” of your aura while in meditation. The Black Apatite stimulates the Third Eye Chakra in order to facilitate quick and easy communication with your guides, allowing for deep healing and cleansing during the meditative visualization. I found this meditation so helpful for creating positive shift, and consequently allowing me to see the truth of my inner guidance, that I felt it was important to share this technique with anyone looking to develop their own psychic skills.
Meditation to Remove Psychic Debris:
Gather some supplies including a cleansed Black Apatite crystal, some incense (optional), and an essential oil of your choice that you feel helps to enhance meditation and visualization (Sandalwood, Tangerine, Bergamot, or Blue Tansy are my favorites for this meditation). Light your incense, if using it, to set the meditative mood. Make yourself comfortable in your sacred space and be sure that you will not be disturbed. Rub a small amount of your chosen essential oil (as long as it is safe for your skin) on your Third Eye Chakra while holding the intention to enhance your meditative experience and create clear visualization. Take a deep breath in and close your eyes. Place the Black Apatite (I prefer a tumbled stone) crystal on your Third Eye Chakra.
Take a deep breath in through your nose, noticing the fragrance of your chosen essential oil, and exhale slowly out of your mouth. Focus on the area of your Third Eye Chakra and feel the energy of the Black Apatite meld with the energy of the essential oil. Feel the energy of the BlackApatite enter your Third Eye Chakra and move down, along your spine, toward your Root Chakra. Once the energy has reached your Root Chakra, see it exit your body through the base of your spine and travel to the ground. See this energy continue down, like a cord, attaching your body to the center of the earth, keeping you safe and grounded.
Bring your attention to the Third Eye Chakra once again and feel the energy of the stone and the essential oil begin to pool at the Brow.
Visualize universal white light enter through your Crown Chakra and exit from your Third Eye Chakra, bathing the Black Apatite crystal in white, healing light. Follow this white light out from your Third Eye into the Universe as far as it goes…toward the sky, past the earth’s atmosphere, far out past the planets in our Solar System, out of the Milky Way galaxy, and into the deep expanse of our Universe. Follow this light to the very center of the universe…to universal source. Here you see a large orb of bright white light.
Enter the orb. Take a moment to allow your eyes to adjust to the bright light. When they do, you see that your guides, angels, animal archetypes, etc. have all gathered here to assist you. Ask your guides to aid you in removing any psychic debris from your auric field in order to clear anything that may be clouding or impeding your intuitive development. Relax as your guides remove this psychic debris. Your guides may use any technique to clear this debris from your aura. Just be open to the experience and feel your energy body become healthy and clear. Know that as this energy is removed from your field, it is creating a healthy environment in which your psychic skills can thrive.
When your guides have completed the process, take a deep breath in and feel the white light from the orb enter your body.
Take another deep breath in and feel this light expand out into your aura, filling it with the white light of universal source energy. Know that this energy will help to prevent the build-up of psychic debris in your aura. Thank your guides, angels, animal archetypes, etc. for their assistance.
Travel back down to your body, following the light from your Third Eye Chakra until you reach the Black Apatite stone on your Brow. Feel the light pouring into your Crown Chakra and feel the light connecting you to the earth…know that you are grounded and protected by Divine Light. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, you may slowly open your eyes. Remove the Black Apatite stone from your Third Eye Chakra. Wiggle your fingers and toes, stretch your arms and legs, and when you’re ready you can return to full conscious awareness.
