How to Enroll in a Class or Program

Graduates & Alumni
It is the objective of the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine to provide our students with comprehensive energy healing education that meets or exceeds current industry standards. Our classes and programs have been developed by our credentialed, experienced instructors to fulfill this goal as well as provide a positive learning environment for our students, to both those who are new to energy healing as well to more experienced practitioners. Our school strives to promote excellence in training and education, thus setting high standards for the quality of energy healing to be expected by both practitioners and clients alike. It is our sincerest hope that our class/program graduates are able to understand and share the importance of healing themselves, their local communities, and the world as a whole. Credentials & Experience:
All of the instructors at the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine have undergone extensive energy healing training in their specific areas of expertise. Our instructors have been hand-selected by our Founder & Educational Director (Ashley Leavy) for their qualifications, experience, and integrity. Individual instructor credentials are kept on file and may be made available upon written request (within 14 days).
The Love & Light School of Energy Medicine is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider (Approved Provider #208). Most of our classes and programs qualify for Continuing Education (CE) hours through the NCBTMB (Please look for the NCBTMB Approved provider Logo at the top of each program page to determine whether the program qualifies for CE hours). The NCBTMB requires Approved Providers to go through a rigorous application process (reviewing every aspect of an approved class/program from marketing and promotion, instructor credentials, student resources, to instructor and class evaluations) and also requires that Approved Providers agree to uphold the NCBTMB Code of Ethics. The NCBTMB maintains these strict requirements to ensure “that certificants receive quality instruction of the highest standards.” Upholding these standards is taken very seriously by our school in order to command respect and bring legitimacy to the energy healing modalities that we teach.
The Love & Light School of Energy Medicine is also accredited and fully endorsed by the World Metaphysical Association (WMA). The WMA issues accreditation only to those who they deem to “demonstrate a high level of awareness, educational aptitude, and ethical business practices.” Additionally, accredited members must pass “high standards of character as well as expertise.”
Just as energy healing ranges from the physical to the metaphysical, we feel that the standards set forth by the NCBTMB and by the WMA fully exemplify the range of ideals to be upheld in our classes and programs.

How to Enroll in a Class or Program:
Students can enroll for online distance learning classes through the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine website’s Course Catalog.
Students can enroll for in-person live study classes by contacting the event host (as listed and described on our events calendar).
There are no registration deadlines for our classes.

Requirements for Certification:
Each of the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine Energy Healing Programs is broken down into several individual classes. Enrolled students will have the option to earn a Certificate of Achievement upon completion of an entire program of study, or after each individual class. If a student opts to receive a Certificate of Achievement for an individual class, then he or she will not also be able to earn a Certificate of Achievement for the program as a whole (this is to prevent the duplication of CE hours earned). Please Note: If a student completes all classes within a program individually, the accumulated CE hours earned are equal to the CE hours earned for the program as a whole.
In order to receive a Certificate of Achievement for a class or program, enrolled students must agree to abide by the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine Code of Ethics (via electronic signature) prior to receiving any certificate. It is the responsibility of the student to check our website for any changes, additions, or deletions to this Code of Ethics. Your enrollment in any class or program constitutes your understanding that the Code of Ethics may change at any time. It is your responsibility as a student to check for and review any changes to the Code of Ethics. If you agree to the updated Code of Ethics, then no action will be required on your part. If, however, you do not agree to any updates to the Code of Ethics, then you must notify the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine (in writing ) that you do not agree. If you do not agree to the updated Code of Ethics, then your enrollment in any classes or programs will be immediately terminated. No refunds or credits will be given if you opt out of enrollment due to a change in our Code of Ethics.
- Enrolled students must complete all requirements for the specific class or program (as outlined on each program description page).
- Enrolled students must attend the class (either in-person or via the virtual classroom).
- Enrolled students must successfully complete a multiple-choice examination (earning a score of 75% or higher to pass) for each class taken. If a student does not successfully pass an exam, then a Certificate of Completion will be issued instead of a Certificate of Achievement.
Records are kept of student progress for each class and program and there is no time limit for completion. Once a student is enrolled, he or she will be granted lifetime access to any class or program materials. This means that classes and programs can be completed at your own pace. However, if any changes are made to a class or program after enrollment, but before completion, then the student will have to fulfill the current class or program requirements (not those set forth when the class or program was started by the student).
After successfully completing any of our programs of study, students will be eligible to apply for membership with the WMA (in accordance with the title they have earned through program completion).
No certificate of any kind will be issued until all of the class or program requirements have been met.
Certification in any of our classes or programs is good for life and does not require renewal of any kind.
For those classes or programs that qualify for CE hours with the NCBTMB, students will receive a certificate including the student’s name, the name of the class or program completed, the date the class or program was completed, the instructor’s name and signature, the name of our school and our contact information (i.e. our Provider Name, mailing address, phone number, and email address), the number of CE hours earned (as well as our approved provider number).
For those classes or programs that do not qualify for CE hours with the NCBTMB, students will receive a certificate including all of the same information as the above (with the exception of the number of CE hours earned and the approved provider number.

Graduates & Alumni:
Graduates are considered by the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine to be those students who have successfully earned a Certificate of Achievement or a Certificate of Completion in any class or program offered by our school. Alumni are considered by the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine to be those students who have successfully completed an entire program of study offered by our school.
Alumni are eligible to be listed on a dedicated Love & Light Alumni Page of our website. Alumni will be listed (alphabetically by first name) on the Love & Light Alumni Page and in a section corresponding to each program of study that has been successfully completed. Information that may be included for each listing is as follows: The full name of the student, up to 5 phrases or terms that describe the type of healing offered by the student, the student’s address, the student’s phone number, the student’s website, the student’s email address. No photos will be allowed. Alumni must submit a request (in writing) in order to be added to the alumni section of our website. Additions will be made within 14 days of receiving this written request. It is the responsibility of the student to keep all information accurate and up-to-date. If it is discovered that there is outdated or inaccurate information in a student’s listing, he or she will be contacted (in writing) by the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine for updated information. Once contacted, a student will have 5 days to submit (in writing) any corrections. If no corrections are received within 5 days, the student’s listing may be permanently removed from the alumni section of our website.

We take violations of our Code of Ethics very seriously. We expect our students to uphold the high standards of excellence set forth and outlined in our classes (for the benefit of other enrolled students, graduates, their clients, and our instructors). Our graduates and enrolled students are expected to act with integrity and in a respectful and professional manner at all times.
If any student (currently enrolled or graduate) is deemed by the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine to be in violation of our Code of Ethics he or she may be immediately removed from the class, program, and/or alumni section of our website. Students who are removed will forfeit their lifetime access to all class or program materials.
One written warning may be issued prior to removal for what is deemed by us to be a minor infraction. However, if the infraction is deemed to be severe, immediate removal of the student or graduate will occur.
No refunds or credits of any kind will be given to students or graduates who have been removed due to ethics violations.
By enrolling in a class or program, you are agreeing to accept any consequences resulting from ethics violations.

For online distance learning classes or programs, students must complete payment at the time of enrollment through our online class enrollment page. Electronic access to additional class or program materials will be automatically delivered via email immediately after class enrollment.

Most of our classes are pre-recorded and can be watched any time at your convenience. However, if a class is being taught online via our virtual classroom for the first time, it may be scheduled as a live distance learning class.
The Love & Light School of Crystal Therapy endeavors to maintain strict adherence to our schedule of classes. However, on occasion, circumstances may develop that may result in the need to reschedule a class. We will make every attempt to notify enrolled students (in writing) of any cancellations as soon as possible. However, students will be notified (in writing) of a cancelled class within the 24 hours after the scheduled class time if we are unable to give prior notice.
In the event of a cancellation for an online distance learning class, in which the class materials have already been distributed to students, we will offer a make-up class in order to satisfy the student’s need to complete the class. Make-up classes will be offered in the same format (online distance learning) and will be scheduled within 3 months of the original online class date.
In the event of a cancellation for an online distance learning class, in which the class materials have not yet been distributed to students, we will offer enrolled students the option of a refund or a make-up class. If the student wishes to receive a refund, this must be done in writing within 5 days of receiving the notice of cancellation from our school. The refund will be issued within 5 days of receiving the student’s refund request. If the student wishes to attend the make-up class, he or she must notify us in writing within 5 days of receiving the notice of cancellation. Make-up classes will be offered in the same format (online distance learning) and will be re-scheduled to be held within 3 months of the original online class date.

Enrolling in any of our programs means you’re making a commitment and an investment in yourself and our School, and we do not accept refund requests for any of our classes, programs or products.
The Love & Light School of Crystal Therapy is not liable to technical issues on the user end. If it is deemed by our school that technical issues on the user end have prevented a student from completing a class or program of study, it will be considered the student’s responsibility to remedy the issue(s) in order to complete the class. If it is deemed by our school that technical issues on the school’s end have prevented a student from completing a class or program of study, then we will offer a make-up class in order to satisfy the student’s need to complete the class. Make-up classes will be offered in the same format (online distance learning) and will be scheduled within 3 months of the original online class date.

While the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine strives to create a positive, healing environment for all, some circumstances are out of our control. We often have limited supervision and management of our enrolled students and graduates, so we are not responsible for their actions, statements, etc. Furthermore, we can only issue certificates to our graduates and alumni based on our best knowledge of the information provided to us. We cannot be held responsible for any misconduct by our graduates or alumni (before or after their certification).
Additionally, although we work to stay current on laws and regulations affecting our classes and programs of study and how these may relate to our students and alumni, we are unable to consistently monitor such laws and regulations in all areas. Enrolled students and graduates agree not to hold the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine (or its instructors) liable for any circumstances resulting from the student’s failure to adhere to his or her local laws and regulations. It is the sole responsibility of the enrolled student or graduate to stay current on all local laws and regulations that may affect his or her practice of energy healing (personally and professionally).
Your enrollment in any class or program constitutes your understanding that these policies and procedures may change at any time. It is your responsibility as a student to check for and review any updated policies and procedures. If you agree to any updated policies or procedures, then no action will be required on your part. If, however, you do not agree to any updates to the policies and procedures, then you must notify the Love & Light School of Energy Medicine that you do not agree to these policies and procedures. If you do not agree, then your enrollment in any classes or programs will be immediately terminated. No refunds or credits will be given if you opt out of enrollment due to a change in our policies or procedures.

Energy Healing is not meant to replace conventional medicine, but rather to complement and enhance it. Information within this site is metaphysical in nature and is by no means medical. Energy Healing should only be used with the understanding that it is not an independent therapy, but one that is a part of a holistic healing approach.
